Dunlop FX125
Raw power in a frame you barely feel: that's the Dunlop FX125. The generous 500 cm² head and the thicker aero beam give this popular teardrop model maximum hitting power, because the larger the head, the more power you get out of the same swing. If you want to drive the ball hard through the court without your racket feeling heavy, the Dunlop FX125 is exactly what you're looking for.
At 125 grams and with an extra head light balance, the Dunlop FX125 is exceptionally manoeuvrable. You react in a flash on the volley, still get to the ball when it drops unexpectedly short, and hold your shot late to send your opponent the wrong way. That freedom to decide late is exactly what an attacking player needs.
The power comes from two sources. The 14 x 18 string pattern creates a more open string bed that sends the ball off more explosively, and the V-Energy shaft makes the shaft stiffer with its V-shaped cross-section, so less energy is lost and your shot feels firmer. String the Dunlop FX125 between 9 and 14 kg and you decide how much power or precision you draw from it.
Beneath the paint sit premium carbon fibres, complemented by Sonic Core Infinergy by BASF: super-light, super-elastic and good for a considerably enlarged sweetspot, so every ball feels as if you struck it from the centre. Vibroshield dampens the vibrations on impact in the handle, keeping your arm fresh even after long rallies. The Dunlop FX125 – played by Tinne Gilis and Sivasangari Subramaniam – is intended for advanced players who want to combine speed and hitting power.
